The China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF), founded in 1979, is held twice annually—in spring and autumn. After 40 years of continuous innovation and self-improvement, it has become a comprehensive industry service platform in the Asia-Pacific region, covering the entire medical device value chain and integrating product technology, service innovation, trade, academic exchange, education, and learning. The exhibition’s content comprehensively encompasses over 10,000 products, including medical imaging, in vitro diagnostics, electronics, optics, emergency care, rehabilitation nursing, mobile healthcare, medical services, hospital construction, medical information technology, and wearable devices—directly and comprehensively serving the entire medical device industry chain from source to end-user. Each edition attracts nearly 4,200 medical device manufacturers from 28 countries and regions, as well as over 200,000 visitors—including government procurement officials, hospital buyers, and distributors—from more than 150 countries and regions worldwide, all coming together at CMEF for transactions and exchanges. As the fair has deepened and become increasingly specialized, it has successively launched a series of sub-brands in the medical field, such as the Conference Forum, CMEF Imaging, CMEF IVD, and ICMD—the China International Medical Device Design and Manufacturing Technology Exhibition. Today, CMEF has established itself as a professional medical procurement and trade platform, a venue for corporate image promotion, a hub for specialized information dissemination, and a premier platform for academic and technological exchange within the medical industry.
