Recently, many friends have shown a keen interest in hyperbaric oxygen therapy using micro-pressure chambers. After undergoing hyperbaric oxygen treatment, patients suffering from insomnia have recovered from sleep deprivation, and those in a subhealth state have regained their vitality. Patients’ levels of consciousness have noticeably improved—some are even able to interact with their families and engage in physical communication; severely comatose patients have been able to wake up. Micro-pressure chamber therapy is truly so effective. We’re sure many friends would like to give it a try. Next, let’s take a look at the steps for using a micro-pressure chamber and the precautions you should keep in mind.
Step 1: Enter the cabin
Before entering the hyperbaric oxygen chamber, staff members should carefully check their personal belongings. It is strictly prohibited to bring flammable or explosive items (such as mobile phones and lighters) into the chamber. The chamber is equipped with music, books, and pamphlets. The hyperbaric oxygen chamber is fitted with air conditioning, maintaining a comfortable temperature.
Step 2: Pressure

The hyperbaric chamber begins pressurizing; the pressurization duration is: 20 minutes. Due to changes in air pressure, you may experience symptoms such as ear blockage or ear fullness. In such cases, it’s important to promptly perform pressure-equalization maneuvers, such as swallowing, yawning, or gently pinching your nose. If these symptoms persist without relief, please immediately notify the civilian oxygen crew members outside the cabin.
Step 3: Voltage Adjustment
The patient puts on a mask that fits snugly over the mouth and nose. Make sure no gas leaks from around the mask. Begin inhaling oxygen. The oxygen inhalation time inside the micro-oxygen chamber is: 30 minutes. You can breathe oxygen through your mouth, or you can breathe simultaneously through both your mouth and nose. However, avoid inhaling too much oxygen. Don’t breathe too rapidly, as this could lead to discomfort such as blurred vision or numbness in your hands and feet.
Step 4: Rest
The patient removes the mask and rests. 5 minutes. While in the seat, you can stretch your limbs and relax your body, but please don’t walk around inside the hyperbaric oxygen chamber. If the patient has difficulty moving, please ask the accompanying flight attendant to help with turning over or performing relaxation exercises.
Step 5: Administer oxygen again.
Oxygen inhalation duration is: 30 minutes.
Step 6: Unzip
The patient removes the mask and rests. The hyperbaric chamber begins to decompress. The decompression time is... 20 minutes. During the decompression process, do not hold your breath or cough vigorously. Meanwhile, the temperature inside the hyperbaric chamber may drop. Patients should wear warm clothing to stay comfortable.
