The soft oxygen chamber is inflated by a foot pump, producing... The air pressure of 113.6 kPa increases the partial pressure of oxygen, thereby improving hypoxia. With advancements in science and technology, medical soft oxygen chambers primarily consist of a soft chamber, a pressure gauge, valves, an air compressor, and an oxygen generator (or oxygen cylinder). The cabin is integrally molded from high-strength polymer gas material, offering high strength and foldability. The cabin is equipped with an inlet and outlet sealed by double-sided zippers, and includes a pressure gauge, a double-sided pressure-relief exhaust valve, and a residual-pressure release valve. After pressurization and inflation, the interior of the soft oxygen chamber can form a cylindrical space approximately 2 meters long—comparable in size to a sleeping bag. The entire pressurization process should not exceed 10 minutes.
Compared to conventional treatment chambers, soft oxygen chambers have the following characteristics.

1. Oxygen chambers occupy a large floor area and feature complex equipment and installations. They often use pressure-resistant steel and copper, making the system equipment bulky. The chamber dimensions are relatively large; multi-person chambers typically measure 2.2m × 5.0m × 2.2m or larger, while single-person chambers must meet requirements of a net diameter of 0.8m and a length of 2.6m. Even mobile oxygen chambers require specially designed vehicles and vessels for installation, making it difficult to meet the demands of rapid emergency deployment. By contrast, soft oxygen chambers are made from composite air materials, which are lightweight and can be folded up and stored in a backpack or suitcase. The air compressor and oxygen generator are compact and lightweight, making them extremely convenient for single-person portability.
2. Soft oxygen chambers typically use air-pressure masks for oxygen intake, ensuring that the oxygen concentration inside the chamber is safe and controllable, thereby reducing safety risks. The chamber’s material is a polyether thermoplastic polyurethane composite fabric. This material features flame retardancy, abrasion resistance, cold resistance, and excellent elasticity, guaranteeing the safe operation of soft oxygen chambers even in challenging environments.
3. The soft oxygen chamber is easy to transport, requires a small footprint once deployed, and is not restricted by environmental conditions, making it suitable for use in various settings such as ships and vehicles. The therapeutic pressure of the soft oxygen chamber can meet the treatment needs of most medical conditions. Compared with traditional oxygen chambers, the soft oxygen chamber allows for different pressurization protocols and therapeutic pressures tailored to individual patient needs. Patients can immediately reduce the pressure and leave the chamber without disrupting others’ treatments, thus enabling personalized care. Conventional oxygen cylinders are typically installed in specialized medical facilities and involve complex operational procedures that require trained medical personnel. In contrast, the soft oxygen chamber is much easier to operate and can be independently managed by a single person.
